Shadow Selfie on The Edge of Cape Eluanbi - VINJABONDIf life is about accumulating memories, experiencing events and fulfilling aspirations, then I can die happy after traveling the world.

Do not fear death so much but rather the inadequate life.

The purpose of life is to find what makes you happy and the meaning of life is to do what makes you happy. In the short span of the human cycle, we have 5 different stages of living with each a different purpose and meaning that makes us happy.

As for myself…

As a child it was video games and comic books.

As a teenager it was skating and getting in trouble.

As a young adult it was girls and partying.

As I am now it’s all about travel.

As an old man it will be family… and travel.

Essentially, most people find the meaning of life then achieve the purpose of life at least once in their lifetime without even knowing about it.

As of right now, there is nothing that makes me happier and as fulfilling as travel. Not even love. I’ve found and experienced love, true love. More than once.

Yet it still does not compare.

Oddly enough, I’ve found love while traveling the world.

We travel, some of us forever, to seek other states, other lives, other souls.

I travel because it makes me happy.

If I were to die today, my life would have ended a happy one. Greatly because of my expedition to achieving a lifetime goal of traveling the world.

And I have been since 2012 with no end in sight.

The world is finite but I would travel it forever if I could. But I can’t so the rest of my life is good enough.
