SPN // HOW TO BE INVISIBLE

EDC (Everyday Carry) is the philosophy of equipping highly personalized sets of gear to effectively manage lifestyle, professional and demanding situations daily.

The term “non-permissive environment” regards to bordered geographic areas and specific locations where the possession and use of firearms and other technical weapons (knives, batons, etc.) are prohibited.

This can be as broad as entire countries and states to as defined as buildings like airports and secure zones.

For those serious about everyday carry and conscious of self-defense preparedness, this could be problematic, especially for a constant traveler like myself.

The solution is equipping permissive gear in replacement. Equipment that are not classified as deadly weapons and or have an incidentally potential utility as a defensive tool, as long as it’s legal.

I wouldn’t suggest an outright disguised weapon such as comb knives or cell phone tasers. Most competent personnel can detect them instantly and possession of them can often incur severe criminal charges.

You should equip the types of self-defense tools that have an inherently non-lethal nature. Designed to stop or deter a potential assailant, not to end their lives or even cause significant bodily harm.

As with any tool but even more so with weapons, they’re only as good as their immediate accessibility – the ability to deploy them quickly and seamlessly for when those (almost always) sudden incidents occur.

For example, I have the Delta Pendant on a “quick release” attachment device around my neck as a necklace for instant defensive stance access, the Operator Pen in my side pocket for traditional deployment and the Microtech Card within my money clip for “deceptive hand-off” attacks.

*Remember, it’s not self-defense if you cause more damage than necessary or beyond the assailant’s incapacitation, because you become the assailant.

I’m digging that Raidops Delta necklace thing. Looks like a stylized cross pendant but intended as a knuck?

Hello, I see you have the Quick Detach on the Raidops pocket delta. Do you have a source for the chain that’s attached?
    Thanks!
