Survival in any form is an act of prevention or recovery.

-John Cain, Founder of VINJABOND

Scenarios that extends to daily life while at my home country and as a foreigner traveling the world :

  – UNLAWFUL   ARREST

  – KIDNAPPING

  – NAVIGATION

GEAR   SECUREMENT

SELF   DEFENSE

ILLUMINATION

I designed this “Tactical + SERE + Survival Bracelet” so I could effectively manage those 6 possibilities as part of my everyday carry gear. Tools I could seamlessly wear on my wrist for effortless accessibility, fast deployment and without hindrance.

Covert Operator's Tactical + SERE + Survival EDC Bracelet - VINJABOND

– Tactical + SERE + Survival EDC Bracelet –

Each kit / component of the bracelet can be detached and adjusted to suit the day’s needs, match my attire, look inconspicuous or to abide by the local laws.

Survival Bracelet Parts + Items :

TacTie by Maxpedition

TACTIE   STRAP

Made by Maxpedition. I made several modification to this to be the actual bracelet part of this kit. Originally for integrating MOLLE and PALS gear. Making it perfect as a heavy duty but low profile utility wrist carry system.

BUY $8 USD

TACTICAL   LANYARD

A modified coiled retention lanyard used to secure gear such as my Hitcase Pro. Also used to attach to my backpack or daypack while I’m sleeping in transit or resting at a transport station and when my attention must be divided.

Plastic Handcuff Keys

CUHK KEY

A slightly modified Concealable Universal Handcuff Key. Trimmed and velcro added for traction while hidden within the survival bracelet. Part of the SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape) kit.

Blackburn Flea 2.0

FLEA   TORCH

Powerful for its size (40 Lumens), this 4 LED bulb flashlight is extremely versatile for its attachment capabilities. Secured on the backhand area of the survival bracelet (when needed) providing exceptional aim-and-illuminate use.

BUY $25 USD

SERE "V" Cutter

SERE   V   CUTTER

A tool designed to cut through zip-tie restraints, seat belts and duct tape while the hands are tied. An escape device for non-standard handcuffs. I attached this out of view with kevlar cordage to the survival bracelet, which could be pulled apart to cut through thick rope while restrained.

BUY $6 USD

There are many “survival bracelets” available but most of them are just paracord made wearable with plastic buckles. The advanced ones use the same idea but add a fishing kit, can opener, flint fire starter or a snare wire.

Individually useful as a wilderness survival kit but too limited and with no impact for urban settings.

Make your own.

This is the best, most thoughtful SERE kit I have ever seen. You inspired me to make my own survival bracelet. Thanks dude!

Sorry, I don’t see how any cop would miss you having this on your wrist when you are cuffed and confiscating it immediately. The Batarang hanging off your wrist is pretty eye catching..

Hello, I was wondering if you still use this system and if you had considered altering to use a fastex buckle or even velcro? I bought some of those straps and they are a nightmare to put on and take off. I tried one of the little attachment clip yours is pictured using and found it unsecure and uncomfortable. If you were to include a mini zipper pouch then you could carry loose items and access them easily. I’m making something similar for me but for ankle carry. Also, I’m a professional knifemaker and I like your blade!
