There is absolutely no better way to seek and seize the opportunities of adventures than by way of traveling around the world.
An adventure is an exciting or unusual experience. It may also be a bold, usually risky undertaking, with an uncertain outcome.
The journey of world travel in itself is an adventure but it’s the specific yet endless experiences we can discover while doing it that makes it what it is. Merely being present in a foreign country tends to release us from our inhibitions to try new things.
A first step into adventure.
The word “adventure” covers a broad range of activities that vary greatly from person to person but it can be anything that is risky, extremely fun, exotic, dangerous, new and unique.
Constantly traveling from city to city, country to country presents us with the most chance for these moments of adventure.
Adventure is a highly personal experience, it doesn’t have to be an extreme activity like hunting and eating cobra snakes in Cambodia or bungee jumping in New Zealand. It can simply be the culture shock of a new environment or sightseeing an ancient temple.
As long it feels adventurous, it IS adventure.
In fact, even as a professional adventurer, I always feel like I’m having an adventure just by sitting in a plane seat on a flight getting to a new destination – every time.
The best part of world travel is not the constant flow of adventures but the different kinds of experiences and possibilities at our disposal so nothing gets old and our wanderlust is well treated.
