I’ve got less than 15,000 days before I die to explore the 197,000,000 square miles of Earth and try its infinite experiences.

John V Cain
Founder of VINJABOND

The Trans-Siberian Railway is the longest train line in the world. It goes through Russia, China, Mongolia and even North Korea… and still expanding since 1916.

At a total distance of 5,772 miles, this railway traverses more than a quarter of the circumference of the world.

That’s well more than twice the width of The United States and across 8 time zones. Multiples countries, hundreds of cities and countless terrain.

Completing the Trans-Siberian Railway usually ends up on most experienced travelers and jaded adventurers as it’s not as simple as merely visiting a stationary site. It’s also a legendary level “travel bucket list” item.

It requires extensive planning, multiple tourist visas (obtained in advance), complex logistics and a nomadic sense to journey this 8 day adventure.

This is literally living on a train moving across an impressive chunk of the planet. Imagine the never-ending scenery, stops at the otherwise hidden parts of the world and all the cultures to experience.

I plan on taking this trip within the next couple of years, hopefully I’ll see some of you on the tracks.

Before I Die… ride the Trans-Siberian Railway.

Did it in 2015 in 23 days.. It’s much better if you can stop some days In different locations and explore them before getting the train again.
